UK Head Office – BSH

We were commissioned by BSH to investigate options for remodelling their head office space at the Milton Keynes site. BSH are the UK distributor of the Gaggenau, Bosch, Neff and Siemens brands in the UK. Faced with a finite floor space that was already at capacity we proposed breaking through the office perimeter wall to use a corridor. This increased the usable space, encouraged more interaction between departments. It also allowed the introduction of communal spaces for chance meetings and creative interface.

We proposed the use of shared desks with lockers for personal storage and personal cellular spaces. Which when unoccupied doubled as meeting rooms and were complemented by quiet booths, coffee bar, meeting and bar height tables.

This created a vibrant space that encouraged users to move through the work settings dependent on task and ad hoc department interaction.
